Last weekend I went to see my friend Jessica moderate a talk at the San Antonio Bookfest. She chatted with the author of Food Fight: Millennial Mestizaje Meets the Culinary Marketplace. I'm almost done with this book and it is SO interesting and eye-opening. Another one you should read, mostly so we can talk about it.
I'm a little behind with my April IG cookbook of the month thing I do, but it's Where Cooking Begins!!! I'm going to try out a recipe this weekend, and I'm very excited. I love Carla and have no doubt she's going to blow my mind with this one.
