Ahh fig season. So short. So special.
I promise I don't only consume figs in cocktails. I love them by themselves, in salads, on pizza. I could go on and on. Figs are the best!
Just, for some reason, the only fig recipes I've shared here so far are cocktails. Honestly, I don't mind if you don't?
This cocktail was 100% inspired by Jessica over at How Sweet Eats. Hers actually has prosecco in it and considering I'm basically 50% prosecco at this point in my life (love the stuff), it's amazing I didn't follow her recipe word for word. BUT she mentioned bourbon, like, once in that post and I knew it had to be done.
So basically this is my version of one of her versions.
Did that make sense?
No?
Drink more bourbon. That will help.
Cheers to fig season! (Please don't be over by the time I finish this post.)
